Congratulations! We enjoy the privilege of providing expert guidance and medical care for your child from birth. You may even start with Pediatric Associates beforehand with a Prenatal Visit to meet and greet your future pediatrician.

Relax and enjoy the time leading up to parenthood. We do not require anything before your child is born. At the time of birth, simply identify Pediatric Associates as where you will go for your baby’s care, even if you have not chosen a specific pediatrician. We visit all newborns coming to our practice and delivered at Evergreen and Overlake Hospital. If your child requires more specialized medical care, then we may consult with or transfer care to a neonatologist in the hospital.

Most newborns have a first office visit at 1-2 weeks old. Many will also be seen at a post-partum follow-up visit for mother and baby in the hospital a couple days after being discharged. This is followed by our series of Well Child Check-ups with discussion of your concerns, growth, development, vaccines and what to expect as your child grows. Finally, our services include same-day appointment availability 365 days every year if concerns arise about your baby, 24-hour nurse advice by phone, and medical information via Pediatric Advisor on our website.
